Hello, hope you’re all having a great weekend :)
When order Jennie’s birthday presents I came across a couple of things that I liked for myself but decided against getting them. Until the night after that was, I couldn’t resist any longer. The purse I had wanted for a couple of months was in the sale and I was worried it would sell out.
I also went into the library today to renew my card and see if they had any makeup books in, they did so I rented a couple.
Here is what I got and their regular and sale prices;
Face Forward – Kevyn Aucoin - Library
Bobbi Brown – Makeup Manual – Library
Blood Lines by Grace Monroe - Library
Hard cased wallet/purse in cream - £6 down from £12
Gold style necklace £3 down from £7
Best friend earrings £1.50 down from £5
Above are close ups of the necklace, purse and earrings. Did any one else pick anything up in the Asos.com sales? And have any of you read any of these books? What did you think?

ReplyDeleteFace Forward by Kevyn Aucoin is absolutely my one of my favourite makeup books, he was so amazingly talented! I actually keep this book out on my makeup counter, I reference it all the time :) The photos are stunning too. I've heard great things about the Bobbi Brown book, I'd love to hear what you think of it :) xx
ReplyDeletethe only time i ever buy things from asos is when there's a sale!i got a couple of necklaces and a twilight mascara. I'm not a twilight obsessive but thought i'd try it out and i do really like it

I'm waiting for my 1st order from Asos (how could I resist SALE thingy lol). I really hope it'll get here tomorrow, because I won't be in town for a week. :/ I think Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual is pretty good, especially all those pictures. :)

ReplyDeleteLadyDanger - So far I have only had a quick flick through it but it looks great and I agree with the photos. Also the Bobbi Brown one is very good so far, has lots of useful info.
Sarah - Haha I think that's the only time I have ever brought from Asos too, when they have a sale. Ooh I saw those on there contemplated getting them but thought I should use up all the mascaras I have first haha. Thank you, haha more makeup is always fine =D

Lenny - Haha yey! Its so much prettier irl. I will try and get that done for you before I have to return them to the library. So far I would definitely say the Bobbi Brown one is worth it!
