Makeup/Fashion Tag

Gemma of Gem's Maquillage tagged everyone so here it is:


1. On average, for application of your typical day-to-day work/college makeup, how long do you spend?

It usually only takes me around 10 minutes as I don't like getting up much earlier than I have to if I'm honest. It usually only consists of face powder, blush, mascara and eyeliner and possibly a lip gloss.

2. On average, for application of your going out/special makeup, how long do you spend?

Ooft, more than 30 minutes at a guess. I like to take my time with doing my eyes as I'm a perfectionist.

3. If you were to be stranded on a desert island, which 4 products would you want with you?

Baby lotion - my moisturiser
Carmex lip balm - the cherry one
Sunscreen - for obvious reasons
Urban decay Book of shadows (Y)

4.What beauty 'must haves' do you always carry in your handbag?

Hand cream/moisturiser - as my hands are always dry
A lip balm of some sort
Which ever gloss I'm wearing that day or just a clear one.
That's all I carry

5. Which drugstore brand would be your favourite?

Barry M - I think their shadows are excellent, their black eye kohl is amazing (holy grail), they are reasonably priced and easily accessible.

6. High Street or High End makeup?

High street, I don't exactly have the budget for high end makeup. I feel that price doesn't always reflect on the product. Most of my makeup is high street brands and I'm happy with it that way.

7. On average, how long does it take you to get dressed/select your outfit?

About 5 minutes, I'm not very creative with my clothing anymore. I think I need to change that.

8. On average, how long does it take you to get ready for a special occasion/night out?

Between and hour and an hour and a half.

9. If you could only choose one item of clothing from your wardrobe, ie jeans which would be your favourite?

If I had to choose, probably jeans as they can be dressed up or down in my opinion.

10. What outfit gives you instant feel-good factor?

A dress with tights, heels and a few accessories.
Or a under bust corset with some sort of outfit.

11. Which shops do you favour?

New Look, Topshop, Asos.com, Republic, D2 Jeans and a few others.

12. High Street or High End clothes?

Again I don't really have the money to splash out too much on expensive clothes. Also I don't feel the need too, I'd much rather put my money to other things. So high street brands for me. Although I do like to look at some of the more high end brands sometimes but then I see the price tags.
