Mini Haul

So here is my mini haul, it consists of some things from Tescos and some things from good olde Primark.

So first of all I went into Tescos to help my mom with the weekly shop and accidentally wondered into the beauty isles. Don't know how that happened :).
I just got a nail polish by Wet 'n' Wild called Wild Shine in Sparked, which is lovely pink sparkles £1.98
I also got a Tescos own brand shimmer powder, in pink. Lovely on top of the cheeks £1.98
I also brought some Nivea Happy Time shower cream, this stuff smells divine and leaves your skin feeling lovely.

Then on Sunday me and boyface took a trip to MerryHill shopping centre to have a look round. Well that and the fact that, the Primark there is the only one nearish to me that sells the cosmetics :(
But anyway I was quite happily looking at all the pretties when suddenly a rush of people decided they wanted to look too. So I ended up grabbing the things that I already knew I wanted and headed to the end of the line which was about a mile long.

So what did I buy?
Well I got an eye shadow quad which was priced as £1 but when I came to pay it had been reduced to 50p =O
I love it when that happens, and I am amazed with the quality so I will be going back to get the others :)
I also got 2 of the loose eye shadow sets *you get two in a pack* which were £1 per pack, so essentially your paying 50p per eye shadow. Again I am amazed with the quality of these so will be going back to buy the other colours too.
I also got a little blusher brush which was £1.50 and it is very very soft, I actually cant get over how soft this brush is for £1.50, plus its pink so its all good.

Swatches are of the quad shadows but it doesn't do them any justice, they are very pigmented for 50p

So yes there is my little haul, it was also a lovely day because it made me happy going shopping with BoyFace (Hayden) and I got to wear my new dress.

Thanks for reading

  1. Hi there! I'm ill and bored and thanks to google I've found your cute blog. Oh, you're so lucky to own this particular Primark palette. I wanted it for a long time but my dear one time swapper couldn't get it for me. I still need this palette!!! It's disappointing to live in Germany as we don't have any Primark store (there's one in th enorth of Germany but it doesn't offer the make up line) around. Who want's to swap with me again? Any volunteers? ;-) Honestly, I should start a blog appeal. :-) I hope to see more interesting hauls and swatches here. Never heard of the brand Make up Academy, btw. Are they good and pricey? Gotta go now. Best wishes
