Hi :)
In a recent haul I mentioned this palette that I paid £1.50 for, I loved it so much I went back and got the other one which had pink shades in it. For some reason this one was £2.40 in the sale, I have no idea why they were different prices but oh well.
Admittedly the colours in the second palette are very similar but I couldn’t resist them with their cute packaging and pretty shimmery shades.
The colours on their own aren’t all that pigmented but when applied over a base they are much better and when used wet, they are stunning (in my opinion). Definitely worth the £3.90 I paid for them. I love the packaging its sleek and from the bottom you can see the colours clearly. I love the fact that when you open them the little stoppers that cover the holes in the pots moves backwards and when you close the lid the stoppers move back into place to stop the product going everywhere. It can be a little difficult to get the product out but if you use a brush and tap off the excess in to the little “wells” that are already in the palette you can easily cover the brush with as much or little product as you need as they are loose shadows. They both came with a little brush, and if I’m honest it isn’t half bad. they are nice for getting the shadows out of the pots but they are also lovely for putting colour along the lower lash line.
Here are some pictures I took (sorry about the quality the lighting hasn’t been good today);
Left: Sub-Lime, Right: Whisper Sweet NeutralsWhisper Sweet Neutrals
Sub-Lime
As you can see the Whisper Sweet Neutrals palette isn’t that good when applied dry but is very pretty when applied wet. The Sub-Lime palette is ok when applied dry but still much better when wet.
Here is a look I created with the Sub-Lime palette, the colours were applied dry therefore they aren’t as bright as what they could be.
Again please excuse the quality of the picture as it was overcast and I couldn’t get a very good picture. My camera likes to annoy me like that haha. I used the palest colour, the green and the turquoise. Very subtle but it was quite shimmery. Very pretty even if I do say so myself ;p
Thanks for reading :)
This is probably a bit of a weird comment but i just thought i'd say i really love your nose ring :D Usually i'm not a huge fan of facial piercings but i think that's because people usually have lots all over their face and over-the-top makeup too. As you have quite a soft, sweet, pretty look i think it really adds something special and makes you look really beautiful :)
