On the way to my Grandparents house last Saturday we had to pop into Asda so I decided to have a quick look at their polishes. The stand was a mess, I wasn’t at all impressed. The polish bottles were all over the place and other products were in the wrong places too. I couldn’t be bothered to sift through the mess so I just picked up two pink polishes. I didn’t realise until after I had paid that one of them is a Matte formula. I got 57 Freedom (matte one) and 56 Swoosh. I haven’t used them properly yet but did a quick swatch of both colours and so far all I can say is that I really don’t like the matte formula, its chalky and extremely difficult to work with. I really like the other colour though it fairly easy to work with and its a very pretty colour. I’ll possibly post NOTD’s with these polishes when I get round to using them.

I got freedom aswell, and I also didnt realise it was a matte formula. I absolutely hate it! Made my nails look horrible! x

ReplyDeleteaww man, i would think that swoosh would looks super cute, i hate when i get a polish like freedom and then when putting it on it comes up kinda creamyishh, way more creamy than it should and the color is sucky and berly visible.=[

ooh those colors are great for the season. i love pinks! i agree w/u some matte nailpolish are hard to work with due to its formula.

@ Katrina M - Me too, Pink is my favourite colour. Yes, its my first Matte so I'm just not used to polish being this difficult haha. No problem lovely, I enjoy reading your posts. Oh right thank you for telling me :D will check that out soon.
