Hello, hope you’re having a good weekend so far :)
I saw this post on Lenny’s blog and thought I would help spread the word too. Some of this information was taken from Lenny’s blog with her permission, of course: :)
I’m not a dog kind of person but that doesn’t mean I think they deserve to be treated badly! In fact I feel that no animal should ever be harmed in anyway! Its a disgrace that these poor animals are abandoned and/or abused and quite often have to be put down due to this, this needs to change!
So Pedigree have launched The Pedigree Adoption Drive 2010 in response to the increasing pressure being put on rescue centres.
To help generate public support for the campaign and drive donations, Pedigree has created a hard-hitting online video. All you have to do is view it and for every view Pedigree will put £1 into the fund. Its as simple as that.
The video is the first of a series telling Charlie’s story. Once 25000 people have seen the video the next one in the series will launch - like a mini-soap opera.
This is information taken from the youtube page by Lenny...
"Last year over 107,000 dogs were abandoned in the UK and one abandoned dog was put down every hour. This year Pedigree wants to change this fact.
Help us by adopting a dog, donating money or simply by making sure as many people as possible see this YouTube Channel page.
Paste a link into your facebook status, tweet it, email it or send it as a text message.
We're looking to improve the lives of thousands of dogs across the UK - not to mention the dog in the video. For the first 100,000 views, we will donate £1 - see below for details.
*For every viewing of an episode of Charlie's story, Mars Petcare will donate £1 to the PetPlan Charitable Trust (Registered Charity Number 1032907), up to a maximum of £100,000. Terms and conditions apply - please visit pedigreeadoptiondrive.com."
This isn’t going to cost you anything but 1 minute of your time so please help make a difference!
