Review; BeFine Gentle Cleanser

Hello :)

So I have been using this product for quite some time now and feel that now is the time to do a review on this cleanser.

Product;
BeFine Food Skin Care Gentle Cleanser with Sugar, Mint, Oats & Rice.

What They Say;
“Cleanse, condition & protect your skin with naturally moisturizing emollients in Sugar. Oats & Rice rejuvenate skin tone & fight aging. A hint of fresh Mint invigorates and stimulates circulation refreshing your skin.”

What I Say;

Since using this cleanser morning and night (after removing my makeup) I haven’t noticed a that much of a change in my skin. It smells very minty but I quite like this and it does leave my skin feeling refreshed and clean. I can’t say I have noticed any difference in the tone of my skin either. At first it left my skin feeling tight and in desperate need for a moisturiser, it doesn’t do that so much any more so I assume it was just my skin getting used to the product. It has a pump bottle which I like as it makes life so much easier. I have been using this bottle for over a month and I use 1 – 2 pumps per use and as you can see I have just under half left, I think that is pretty good. Also according to the bottle this product has ingredients that “clean, tone and moisturize or treat skin naturally”. Its a pretty good cleanser but I don’t feel that it moisturises or tones. All in all going from using just regular soap to this hasn’t made too much of a difference to my skin. Something else to note about this product is that it IS NOT tested on animals.

How To Use;
”Use every day morning and night. Moisten face. Apply a small amount of Gentle Cleanser in a circular motion. Rinse off. Follow with our Firming Toner.”

This is basically what I did, at first I was using this product alone and then I started using it with the S&G Face Massage Mini Mitt. When used alone I don’t feel that this product cleanses my skin as well as when using it in conjunction with the mitt. I didn’t follow with a toner as I don’t own one, I just put on my moisturiser.

Where;
BeFine do have a website
www.befine.com which gives information on where to find these products in the US, and you can also buy online. In the UK the only place where I have seen limited stock is in PoundLand, which is where I got mine from. Also I had a quick look on eBay and there are some products been sold on there.

How Much;
I paid £1 for mine from PoundLand but on the website this retails for $25/£17.
All products on the website retail between $20 and $40.

Repurchase?
Not really. Whilst it did do an ok job of cleansing my face I don’t think it is a fantastic product. Plus I’m fickle.

Thanks for reading
