I find that having a list of all the things I have to look forward to both in the coming weeks and months really helps me stay motivated and positive.
The last few weeks I haven't made one of my little lists and I have found myself feeling down and like I have nothing to look forward to.
So I have promised myself that over the weekend I am going to buy myself a pretty diary/notebook to make my things to look forward to lists and some other ones that help me keep my mind on the right track.
I am not sure if most people do this or if I am just sounding like a headcase but it works for me so I would recommend it to anyone who is feeling a little negative and like they have nothing positive happening in their lives at the moment.
A few things from my list;
- Payday - everyone loves payday don't they? I do at the moment as I'm being paid weekly whilst I'm temping
- Getting my nails done with my mom and sister, I'm paying for it as a Mothers day treat for my Mom :)
- Seeing my O/H at the weekend, we are still long distance and will be for another 6 - 12 months.
- Visiting family and getting my passport sent off
- LONDON weekend in April, seems like ages away still but I am so excited for this as I have never actually been into the center of London before!
- ROME! The O/H and I are planning a trip to Rome some time this year, it will be my first holiday abroad so am super excited for this holiday. We have around 3/4 of the money saved up we just need to get our passports and book it.
There are some other thing too but I thought I'd just put a few on here :)
