Hello :)
So yes I went out intending on spending around £20 on some bits and bobs and I couldn’t find much to buy so i only spent about £15. Who would have thought that you can go out and not be able to find things to buy.
I knew I wanted a lip liner to go with the MyFace.Cosmetics lipstick I got the other day and my Mom had mentioned a pretty blue polish in Wilkinsons so I wanted to check that out.
From Wilkinsons I got;
Atrixo Hand Cream – £1.67 I tried this whilst working at the nursery and it saved my hands, its lovely.
Sure Mineral Deodrant - £0.77 (on special)
2 packs of their Vitamin E face wipes - £0.54 (£0.27 each)
Rimmel Lip Liner in Red Dynamite - £2.98
3 Nail polishes in yellow, blue and pink - £0.97 each
2 Mascaras for my Mom to try - £0.97 each
From Asda I got;
Purple square studs - £1
Purple Butterflies 1/2 price - £1.50
Starfish & pearl necklace 1/2 price - £1.75
Seahorse necklace 1/2 price - £1.75
Such bargains, I know I don’t buy expensive stuff but at the moment money is tight and to be honest if I can get something for a lot less that works just as well for me as a more expensive option whether I have the money or not I will 9 times out of 10 go for the cheaper option. Just thought I’d put that out there lol.
Swatches of the Wilko’s Nail Polishes;
I was so surprised with these, I must admit I wasn’t expecting them to be so good. They apply very nicely as they aren’t very thick, I much prefer a thin formula in nail polish. They Yellow and Pink were opaque with 2 coats the blue is more of a jelly so would obviously take more coats if you want it opaque. They dry unbelievable fast, not just to the “touch dry but still dent” stage they actually dry so that nothing can mark them, which is awesome. Obviously I can’t say anything on longevity and things like that as I have only just brought them. I plan on picking up a few more as they are only £1 and have such beautiful colours. They look so much prettier IRL than the pics show, my camera hates me at the moment.

wow such bargins! I really miss having a wilkinsons near by one of the down sides to living in london :( the starfish and seahorse necklaces are soooo cute and I am going to have to drag myself to an ASDA or WILKOS now for some cheap nail polish goodness.
